Yellow Wallpaper

This is the Yellow Wallpaper picture. I did a lot of editing to this picture in order for it to look less like a snapshot. I wanted to show the insanity or insecurity of the lady in the story. I also wanted to show her sort of blending in with the environment and so I used a filter to make her skin, and the floor blend together. In the story she feels trapped and so I wanted to make her look very unhappy in the room.

Portraits

Heres my first portait for this past assignment. I cropped the image and bumped up the contrast.

I chose to do a close up of the eyes because I feel like your eyes tell everything. You can see the sadness in them or you can see the joy in them. They are the key to a person. They are what make everything visible.

Color On the Couch

For the color assignment this is a blue theme. There was no editing done to this photo.

Here is an orange themed photo. I used the vivid lighting to enhance the orange tones in this picture.

This photo is supposed to be a red theme.

This is one of the attractive photos I took. I really like how bright and clear the flowers are and how much color and detail is packed into this photo.

This is one of my repulsive photos. I think that swamp scum is really disgusting but at the same time there are a lot of really neat things about plants swampy areas.

This is another repulsive photo. It is of a spider eating another bug. I like how focused it is and how it shows so much detail. Spiders are disgusting and creepy yet they are really beautiful creatures if you think about it.
Tis is another attractive photo. The detail is really evident in this photo and I like how the background is blurred.

Here's my wierd editing to make a scene.

This is the blur/overlay. I really like how it got so bright after the editing

This guitar neck was taken next to a window. The neon glow i used brought out the detail in the wood grain because it shows the contrast against the dark background

This picture was also edited with just the neon glow.

I took this picture in Florida and i decided to do the easy blur method to make it more dream-like or dazy.

I filtered only the background to make it look surreal or like a cartoon but have a touch of reality in it. (the clear-viewed feet.)
For this picture i decided to edit only the background and use a noticable filter on it. I wanted to have my cousin be the main subject but also bring out the background.

Here's the alphabet in nature. :)
